2012 Photo Album St Francis Elementary SchoolsA Special Thank You goes out to the cafeteria workers at St. Francis Elementary schools. They wore pink and supported LLBCAR while serving lunch to students during October in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The 8th Annual Ride for Breast Cancer Awareness on September 22nd, 2012This year the ride for the Lynnda Laubach Breast Cancer Ride will take place on Saturday, September 22nd, 2012. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. The ride will leave Zylstra Harley-Davidson in Elk River, MN at 12:00 p.m and conclude in the evening with food, music, raffles and live auction. And of course we will draw and announce the raffle winner of this years Grand Prize, a new Harley-Davidson motorcylce. It will be a great day of fun, motorcyle riding, prizes and food as we raise money for the Mercy & Unity Cancer Center.
It all goes down on Saturday, September 22nd. All bikes are welcome and fees are $25 per biker and $15 per rider. Event fees include the 100 mile ride, Hog Roast, dinner and music. Our Mission Statement:Bikers riding together with the goal of helping breast cancer patients and survivors improve their quality of life today and into the future.
Our sole purpose is to raise funding for various foundations, currently we are supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation at Mercy Hospital and Unity Hospital. The foundation is instructed to disburse our funds to breast cancer patients/survivors as needed. Patients must apply for the funding through the foundation however it is not required that they have their treatment at these facilities.
It is our goal to join together and offer breast cancer patient/survivors our support in having a better life today as well as in the future. Your contributions do not go towards research and development but they do go directly to those who need our help and support. |
